HAINZL develops and produces individual turn-key test systems for customers from the automotive industry and mechanical engineering. These range from compact, mobile test equipment to automated test lines, including the handling of test items. A particularly effective end-of-line test system with a test capacity for up to 500,000 hydraulic units per year went into operation at several international locations. Compared to existing systems, this solution enables the customer to significantly increase the productivity.
The end-of-line test system consists of a compact housing with two identical, independent test cells. A 5-axis robot is placed to load the two test cells and is surrounded by a safety fence. Several conveyors transport the test items in and out of the protected test area.
The end-of-line test stand is designed for various hydraulic and electrical tests, which are performed fully automatically in an outstanding cycle time of 60 seconds. The following key innovations ensure this special efficiency: on the one hand, the test cells operating in parallel and the newly developed pressure-flow control system ensure the high throughput of test specimens. On the other hand, the sophisticated clamping system for different test specimens makes fully automated loading of the test cell with robots possible. This makes the test cell predestined for use in interlinked production lines and, as an automated test system, it is integrated into the higher-level MES system.
In addition, this innovative end-of-line test stand uses the load energy for efficient energy recovery.
