HAINZL @ Microsoft IoT Lab in Munich

On invitation of our partner iba AG, our software specialist for process monitoring took the opportunity to work with Microsoft specialists in the Microsoft Internet of Things Lab in Munich on the use case we brought along.

At the recently opened, worldwide third location of Microsoft Internet of Things (IoT) Labs in Munich, topics such as Edge Devices, Artificial Intelligence, speech recognition with Cortana as well as cloud services are tested and further developed. In addition to Munich, Microsoft gives companies in Redmond (USA) and Shenzhen (China) the opportunity to develop new technologies together with their specialists.

HAINZL presented the new developments towards process monitoring on October 29th. At the joint workshop, our software specialist worked, among other things, on the future development of a central database for HAINZL customers to facilitate data acquisition and monitoring by means of reports via a web interface. This will make it even easier to evaluate data in the central system or evaluation tool in the future. Together the prototype development for an improved process monitoring was further advanced and improved.

The cooperation with iba AG and the invitation from Microsoft show the successful positioning of HAINZL as a trendsetter and pioneer in condition monitoring. For more detailed information on our services, please contact Herwig Eichler (h.eichler@hainzl.at).
