HAINZL developed an automated test stand for pressure testing hydrogen tanks (Type IV) for use in end-of-line testing. The system enables the efficient, resource-efficient, and fully automated execution of safety-critical testing processes.
The test stand ensures precise control and monitoring of the entire test sequence—from filling with deionized water through pressure buildup to the holding phase and controlled drainage. The integration of the OCEAN software platform and high-precision measurement technology guarantees reproducible and reliable testing.
Special attention is paid to safety: A sealed test chamber, monitored pressure profiles, and defined drainage processes ensure safe operation even at very high test pressures. As a result, the system meets the highest standards for quality, efficiency, and process reliability in hydrogen technology.
