HAINZL has implemented a central hydraulic solution for a state-of-the-art research and development center belonging to a leading German automobile manufacturer. The system, which is currently being installed on site, forms the technical basis for the development of future vehicle generations.

The project sets new standards in industrial hydraulics. HAINZL's central hydraulic system, with a 40,000-liter tank and ten high-pressure pump units, supplies the center's test benches with up to 4,800 liters per minute at 290 bar.

With a total drive power of over three megawatts, the solution is one of the most powerful systems of its kind. A particular strength of the system lies in its automation via the OCEAN software platform powered by HAINZL. It intelligently coordinates all hydraulic services, centrally records energy data, and seamlessly integrates the entire system into the customer's control technology. This enables the system to operate in an energy-efficient, transparent, and highly dynamic manner, making it ideally suited to the demanding test processes involved in vehicle development.

Following an intensive engineering and manufacturing phase in Linz, the system was delivered and is now in the final stages of assembly at the customer's site. The research center is scheduled to go into operation in spring 2026.
