Ascendor, based in Neufelden, stands for high-quality lift solutions “Made in Austria” and was looking for a modern embedded system solution with intuitive HMI operation for its platform and vertical lifts. The goal was a user-friendly control platform with voice output and integrated LTE emergency call function that would fit seamlessly into existing products.
Together with Ascendor, HAINZL developed a customized complete system consisting of hardware and software, optimized for use in stairlifts. The solution includes a color touch display, a specially adapted control board, barrier-free voice output, and secure LTE connectivity.
After the concept and development phase, the project went into series production. Today, HAINZL produces around 1,200 control boards and just as many HMI units annually. The decisive factor for Ascendor was HAINZL's ability to deliver a technically mature, fully integrable solution based on in-depth development expertise and many years of project experience.
