In this test stand for safety-relevant brake vents, the force is applied by means of pneumatic cylinders. The brake releases are tested for maximum force, nominal force, release times and power consumption. Weight compensation of the test specimen frame serves to increase the accuracy of the force measurement. The test sequence and the analysis of the test results are fully automated.
