Library building of the Johannes Kepler University, Linz

The Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz wants to catch up with European universities and is therefore investing equally in academic excellence and campus development. The library building was recently upgraded in an ambitious functional and architectural manner. On the one hand, the new Learning Center offers students about 300 workplaces in three learning zones. And in terms of architecture, JKU excels among other things with the new "Spanish Steps". The entire electrical engineering for this project was installed by HAINZL.

Our scope of services included the complete electrical installation, including the low voltage distribution, the LAN cabling (network technology), the installation of all safety-related systems such as the fire alarm system, safety lighting, a complex lighting system and the lightning protection system.

Execution period: 05.2019 - 02.2020
