History

Since 50 years the name HAINZL stays for fluid-, automation- and building technology as well as for new, innovative solutions. Here are some milestones of the HAINZL success story:

1965

Founding of the Hainzl & Bauer, engineering office in Linz-Urfahr, the first units were produced on a farm

1970

Moving to our current location - the Industriezeile in Linz.

1980

The firm hires its 100th employee.

1985

The Hainzl family acquired 100% of the company, rebranding as HAINZL INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS

1986

Establishment of a works council

1990

Conferral of the right to bear the national coat of arms of the Republic of Austria

1990

Dr. Martin Hainzl joins the company and becomes a member of the management.

1991

The Austria Physical Society awards the AVL List Prize for successful collaboration between the University of Linz and HAINZL INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS

1993

Founding of the firm Kappa Filter Systems in Steyr in conjunction with Klaus Krüger for the maintenance of pure air in industry

1995

Certification pursuant to ISO 9001 as 500th company in Austria

1998

Expansion of the company building

2003

The number of employees reaches 500.

2005

Consolidated turnovover reaches 100 million Euros

2007

The new Hall V takes up production.

2009

The additional office building was opened.

2012

HAINZL becomes majority shareholder of Frankonia Hydraulik GmbH in Wolframs-Eschenbach/DE; since 2019 HAINZL is sole shareholder.

2015

HAINZL celebrates its 50-year anniversary as a company.

2018

Death of the company founder Ing. Erich Hainzl

2020

The management of HAINZL Industrial Systems GmbH was handed over to Ing. Wilhelm Eibner and Dr. Björn Fellner. Dr. Martin Hainzl becomes a member of the supervisory board.
