For a worldwide leading manufacturer of shock absorbers HAINZL Systemtechnik delivers an end-of-line test bench for a plant in China. At the production site, electronically continuously adjustable damper systems for the automotive sector are manufactured.
These dampers record all vibrations during driving via sensors and detect the current driving situation and vehicle condition. A dedicated control unit controls the optimum damping force at each individual damper. In this way, the vehicle adjusts permanently and independently to the respective driving situation.
For this production line, HAINZL Systemtechnik has developed an end-of-line test stand for testing the active shock absorber valves.
Two test chambers, each with two test stations and automatically closing doors, enable rapid cycling and short test times per damper. The characteristic data of the dampers are recorded via volume flow and differential pressure. The scope of supply also includes a cooling system with chiller, our OCEAN software (including recipe editor) and a connection to the customer's MES system. The test stand has already been implemented in such a way that it can also be adapted to other valve types.
Commissioning at the plant in China took place in June 2023.
